Below are several frequently asked questions about Mens Clara Tutoring and our operations. Please feel free to contact us if any of your questions are not listed here!
Who is Latin tutoring right for?
Anyone struggling in Latin class or who wants to advance their Latin understanding. (It never hurts to to enhance your skills!)
How will we keep in contact?
Initial contact will be made through email or social media. After you have decided to move forward with Mens Clara, we will use standard text or email for scheduling and session recaps. Parents will receive a monthly phone call from the tutor to go over their student's progress. (Calls can be made anytime during business hours upon request.)
Where will the sessions take place?
All sessions are conducted through Zoom. The links for the sessions are sent through standard text/call (if there is a different contact method you prefer, just let us know).
When are scheduling/contact hours?
Our daily office hours are 9:00am - 2:00pm and 4:00pm - 10:00pm (EST). We will be sure to get back to you within 24 hours.
What days are sessions available?
Sessions are available to be scheduled most days of the week. There may be some exceptions, due to holidays or tutor schedule conflicts.
How are payments made and when?
Invoices will be sent through email. Payments are made through PayPal or Cash App (other methods can be discussed) and are due within 24 hours of the end of the session. Rates are discussed through email or in the first free introductory session.
